A summer resort hotel since the 1930's, Dalvay retains the same pristine beauty which originally enticed the MacDonald family to this beautiful setting.

Dalvay By-The-Sea is located at the east end of Prince Edward Island National park on scenic Dalvay Beach. There are 26 guest rooms; all are largely furnished in period antiques and all rooms offer a four-piece private bath. Each of our rooms is singular and unique. The variation in room rates is accounted for by the size of rooms, views and bedding appointments.

In addition, there are eight recently constructed three-bedroom cottages located adjacent to the inn, offering vistas of the ocean, Dalvay Lake and acres of manicured grounds. The inn currently operates from June - late September, offering both accommodations and dining.

There are no televisions, phones or radios in our guests rooms for a true relaxing getaway. Dalvay also offers a fully smoke-free environment in all guest rooms, cottages and inside public areas.  There is a guest  computer located in our front office for e-mail and Web use, complimentary for guests and can be also hooked to personal laptops.

Dinner and breakfast are included in our room rates. Children are welcome, with a menu designed especially for them. Our dining room is also open to the public for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea (July 1 - Sept. 7) and Dinner daily. Our award-winning Executive Chef,  Andrew Morrison and his culinary team, are pleased to offer you the finest in island dining in a unique and relaxing atmosphere.
